Bethesda Terrace and Fountain: Another place in Central Park that has been used in many film and television productions, such as "Avengers", "Gossip Girl", etc. Each season has its own scenery, and occasionally you can take photos of rainbows. It is the most lively place in the entire park.

The Great Lawn: Another spot in the park for sunbathing and picnicking, and home to annual concerts by the New York Philharmonic and the Metropolitan Opera, among others

Belvedere Castle (Belvedere Castle): It looks like a retro castle from the outside, but it is actually a lookout. It is beautiful whether you climb the castle or take photos from a distance.

4. Grand Central Terminal

The heroine of "Gossip Girl" appeared in this station in the first season. It has a history of more than 100 years and is one of the famous landmarks in New York.

The whole station feels like a retro movie. The most classic photo spot is in the middle of the second floor. It can avoid the crowds and can take pictures directly with the original camera.

5. Flatiron Building

Do you think this name is a bit random?

In fact, it was originally called the Fuller Building, but people thought it looked like a Flatiron, so it was later renamed the Flatiron Building.

Because of the tall and thin appearance of the building, it is not easy to take a photo with it. You can stay away from it and sit on the big rocks on the street to take pictures. The yield rate will be much higher.

6. Wall Street

Basically, coming here is to take a photo with the bronze bull.

Westerners believe that touching the private parts of the statue can bring good luck, so many people come here to touch the balls of the copper bull.

However, you have to queue up to take a photo, and the queue is very long, so everyone needs to set aside a certain amount of time.

In addition, whether you are a boy or a girl, it is strongly recommended that everyone wear formal attire and come to Wall Street to take a few photos, so as to have a sense of déjà vu as a top financial talent.

7. Fifth Avenue

As a famous shopping paradise, there are all kinds of world-famous brands that you may or may not think of here, including not only fashion and bags, but also jewelry.

In addition, department stores are the essence of this place.

Bergdorf Goodman: Located between 57th and 58th Streets, it has one building each for men's clothing and women's clothing. It is full of high-end brands and is often on sale.

Saks Fifth Ave: Although the positioning is not as high-end as BG, it has all the brands except Hermès. It has its own credit card. When you swipe your credit card at checkout, you get 10% off on everything, regardless of brand.

8. Brooklyn Bridge

This is the romantic bridge in many American TV series. It is one of the best viewing spots for the Wall Street buildings and the scenery of the Hudson River. It is also the ceiling for watching the sunset.

It is recommended to go in the morning or evening: in the morning, the light angle is just right and there are not many people; in the evening, you can enjoy the sunset and take a look at the night view of Manhattan.

There are several intersections on the bridge. Most people choose the Brooklyn Bridge Walkway Starting Point. You can also take the 37 Prospect St, Brooklyn, NY (shortcut, which saves ten minutes of walking). Those who are too lazy to do anything can still find it by following the flow of passengers.

If you don’t want to go on the bridge, you can also take pictures of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge at Dumbo, a famous internet celebrity check-in spot.

9. Broadway Theater

If you come to New York without seeing Broadway, the experience will be incomplete.

The experience of watching a drama live is completely different from that on the screen, especially the design of various stages and props, which will be very shocking!

Recommended plays: Hamilton, Lion King, Wicked, Chicago, Moulin Rouge, Hadestown, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Cursed Child), Come from Away>>Watch all the plays here

In addition, the original price tickets on the official website are very expensive. You can try the following methods: 2024 NYC Travel Tips

Rush Tickets: Go to the Box Office one or two hours before the show starts to ask. There may not be any seats, and you cannot choose seats. Where to sit mainly depends on which area has remaining seats. It is possible from the first row to the corner of the last row. Just like opening a blind box, the ticket price is usually less than $50

TKTS: Only sells discounted tickets on the same day, at least 50% discount, but you need to buy offline, there are many people queuing up, usually open at 11 am or 3 pm, before going, you can check what dramas are on sale today on the TKTS official website Tickets and opening hours

Lottery Tickets: If you win the lottery, you can buy tickets at a lower price (usually $50 a piece, and some dramas are cheaper). You can draw one or two tickets in one mailbox. If you are in a hurry, you can use multiple mailboxes to draw. The lottery channels include: Broadway Direct Lottery, Lucky Seats, TodayTix, and Hamilton (only Hamilton dramas can be drawn)

2. Viewing platform

1. Empire State Building

There are two viewing platforms here, one on the 86th floor and the other on the 102nd floor

You can buy a ticket for the 86th floor alone, which costs $44 excluding tax, or you can buy a combined ticket for the 86th and 102nd floors, which costs $79 excluding tax. If you choose the sunset time, the price will add about $10. The ticket purchase address is here

You can go outside on the 86th floor. You don’t need to take pictures through the glass. You can get clearer pictures. However, there are railings around the outside, and the wind is very windy at night. Even in summer, it will be cold. It is best to bring a jacket.

The 102nd floor can overlook the panoramic view of New York without any obstruction, but through the glass, the clarity of the photos taken will be a little worse than that on the 86th floor.

2.Top of The Rock

Located at Rockfeller Center

Regular tickets are $40. If you don’t want to queue up and down the elevator, you can buy a VIP express pass. The ticket price is $85. During sunset, each ticket will cost an additional $10. The ticket purchase address is here.

The Top of the Rock viewing platform has three floors, the 67th, 69th and 70th floors. But both 67 and 69 have glass fences that are taller than a person. The 70th floor is a fully open-air platform on the 69th floor with only waist-high fences, which is more visually stunning.

3. One World Observatory

Located at One World Trade Center, it was rebuilt on the site of the original north building after the 9/11 incident. It is the tallest building in the United States, with a total height of 541 meters.

Compared with the Empire State Building and Top of the Rock, Shimao One Observation Deck has no outdoor space and can only be viewed indoors, but the service is better.

Tickets can be purchased onsite or online, with prices ranging from $44-$74

Attached is a promotional video officially released by One World Observatory. Personally, I think the scene shown on the cover is the biggest surprise.

Start at One. See Forever. One World Observatory.

4.Edge Observation Deck

Located on the 100th floor of the Hudson Yards building, it is the highest outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere

Ticket prices range from $35-$81, with an additional $10 for sunset. You can buy it on site or online, but on-site tickets may be sold out during peak periods

However, if you dine or order a drink at the Peak restaurant on the 101st floor, as long as the per-person consumption exceeds $40, you do not need to buy a ticket and go directly to the observation deck after the meal.

If you are brave enough, you can go for an outdoor high-altitude experience

5. Summit One Vanderbilt

Located on floors 91-94 of One Vanderbilt, it is known as the "real version of Inception"

There are so many people going here, especially on weekends, so it’s best to buy tickets one or two days in advance. You may not be able to buy them on the same day. Especially tickets to watch the sunset must be bought in advance. Ticket prices range from $42-$62.

In addition, since there are all glass mirrors inside, the light is very strong, so it is best to wear sunglasses; there are also mirrors on the floor, so girls are best not to wear skirts or put on safety pants, otherwise they will be spotted.

6. Things to note when visiting the viewing platform

First of all, the landscape effect on the viewing platform is directly related to the weather. Check the weather before booking a ticket. It is best to go on a sunny day.

Secondly, the wind will be very strong on the outdoor viewing platform, and skirts can easily blow up. It is best to wear pants or a pair of safety pants.

3. Museum

1. Metropolitan Museum of Art

Together with the Forbidden City, the British Museum, and the Louvre Hermitage Museum, it is also known as one of the five major museums in the world. It is a living textbook of history. It is especially recommended for those who major in history, architecture, and fine arts.

Tickets are $30 and can be purchased on the MET official website

This museum is very big and you may not be able to visit it in three days. Be sure to ask the staff for a map.

There are exhibits from all over the world. The China Pavilion is on the second floor, including bronzes, porcelain, murals, ink paintings, etc. There will also be special exhibitions from time to time. For details, please visit the MET official website.

If you have limited time, first choose the exhibition halls you are interested in to visit, or go directly to the exhibition halls where the most important treasures are located and check in one by one.

2. Whitney Museum of American Art

The entire exhibition hall is not large in area, with a total of 8 floors, but it is small and beautiful. It mainly collects American art from the 20th century, with 20,000+ fixed exhibits.

In addition to the exhibits, there are two check-in points: one is the rooftop, where you can take pictures of the New York skyline; the other is the large floor-to-ceiling windows on the west side of the 5th to 8th floors, where you can take pictures of the beautiful sunset.

Tickets are $25, buy tickets here; there is also a Friday Night at the Whitney event every Friday. As long as you sign up, you can enter as much as you want (minimum $1), but there are quotas.

It is recommended to take the elevator directly to the top floor and then walk down from the top to save energy.

3. Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)

Also often called the MoMA Art Museum, it is located on 53rd Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. After viewing it, you can walk to the Top of the Rock Observation Deck of the Rockefeller Building.

The entire museum has six floors, but masterpieces by famous artists are basically concentrated on the fifth floor, such as: Van Gogh's "Starry Night", Picasso's "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon", "Woman Preparing Her Hair", "Girl in Front of the Mirror", Rousseau's "Dreamland", Monet's huge "Water Lilies", etc.

Therefore, we strongly recommend that everyone check in and go straight to the fifth floor.

After shopping, you can buy souvenirs at the Meusem Store downstairs. There are many interesting little things and the variety is richer than the MoMA Design Store opposite.

The ticket price is $25, or you can buy an annual pass for $120, which allows unlimited entry and exit within a year, and you can bring one person with you. The ticket purchase address is here

4. Guggenheim Museum

The Guggenheim Museum is located next to Central Park. It is a private museum listed on the World Heritage List. Some people say that its architecture is more impressive than its works.

Tickets are $25 and can be booked online

Different from other museums that display different exhibits in different exhibition halls, the Guggenheim's exhibits are all displayed along the walls of the ramp for visitors to enjoy while walking. They will not feel tired even if they climb to the top floor.

As a collaborator of abstract pioneer Kandinsky, the Guggenheim family has collected a large number of his works, which can also be seen here

In addition, the interior of the building is mostly white, so wearing solid colors will look better when taking photos~
